Female Removing Clear Aligners From Mouth
When we are able to provide a patient a brand new, beautiful smile, we’re just as pleased as the patient is. Many people are displeased with their teeth and hide their smiles behind their hands or avoid smiling at all. That’s simply not necessary any more – not with all the different cosmetic dentistry techniques we have available to provide you with the beautiful smile you want.

We love watching our cosmetic dentistry patients bloom with greater confidence and self-esteem when a smile they considered displeasing changes into one they consider lovely or handsome. It’s wonderful to watch how wide they smile when there is nothing they want to hide.

Here’s the techniques available in our office to brighten, straighten or correct your smile.
Porcelain Veneers
These are tooth-colored covers for your teeth, sculpted from durable porcelain. They are able to correct a wide variety of problems like chipped teeth, badly discolored teeth, teeth with gaps between them or small or misshapen teeth. First, a mold will be taken of your teeth and then these covers will be made in a lab we select for their quality and reliability. A very minute amount of enamel will be removed from the teeth to receive veneers to make room for these thin covers and then the veneers will be bonded to your teeth. Porcelain veneers are a fast route to the brighter, straighter, better shaped smile you want.

Lumineers are also thin covers for your teeth that conceal and repair damage. The difference is that when Lumineers are applied, no enamel needs to be removed. Tooth surfaces are just etched slightly to allow the Lumineers to bond securely. In most cases, just two visits is all it takes to complete this process.
Zoom® Teeth Whitening

When age, food, drink or smoking have darkened teeth, Zoom teeth whitening can quickly brighten them with an in-office treatment. This process takes about 60 to 90 minutes total, and involves applying a whitening agent to your teeth and then shining a laser on them. Yes, your eyes will be protected with special goggles during this process. You should be able to see a difference of two to three shades right away.
Dental Bonding
For small chips, cracks or repairs, dental bonding offers a fast solution. With bonding, a composite resin to match the color of your teeth is applied directly to your teeth and then hardened with a special light. There’s no need for a dental lab, so dental bonding can be completed in one visit. If you have multiple places that dental bonding is needed, your services may be scheduled in multiple visits.
Tooth Colored Fillings
Many of our patients ask us about replacing old, darkening fillings with tooth-colored fillings and we are happy to oblige. Composite resin fillings match the color of your teeth and help keep your smile beautiful, no matter where they are placed.
Porcelain Inlays/Onlays
When a tooth has suffered considerable decay or a fracture, an inlay or onlay of porcelain may be the solution. They are both created in a lab out of very durable material. An onlay is used as a replacement for one or more of the points of a tooth (called a cusp). An inlay is placed within the cusps. Both add strength and durability to your teeth while also matching their color.
All-Porcelain Crowns
Crowns are an excellent way to protect the integrity of teeth that have been damaged or that have had large fillings or root canals. They also offer cosmetic benefits. Porcelain crowns are the best choice when appearance is a concern, as well as strengthening.
Invisalign offers a way to straighten one’s teeth without all the metal brackets and wires. A series of nearly-invisible aligners made of thermoplastic material will be provided to you after a careful study of your teeth and bite. You will wear each aligner 22 hours a day, removing it only to eat and clean the aligner. Every two weeks or so, you change to the next aligner in the series. Very gradually, these aligners shift your teeth into their ideal positions without any need for metal brackets or wires.
