Q: WHAT ARE INVISALIGN INVISIBLE BRACES?

A: Invisalign is a unique system of straightening your teeth without brackets or wires. You’ll receive a series of clear aligners and wear each one for a week or two. With precisely controlled variation of pressure, your teeth will gradually be shifted into their ideal positions.

Q: WHEN IS INVISALIGN TREATMENT RECOMMENDED?

A: To correct a wide variety of problems, such as crooked teeth, gaps between teeth, overbite, underbite and overcrowding.

Q: HOW DO INVISALIGN BRACES WORK?

A: They apply the exact right pressure to the correct teeth to gradually move them into their proper positions. As your teeth begin to shift, the next aligner moves them a little more, and so on, until their positions have been corrected.

Q: WHAT CAN I EXPECT DURING MY INVISALIGN APPOINTMENTS WITH DR. DAVIS?

A: At your initial appointment, images will be taken of your teeth to guide the creation of your customized set of aligners. You’ll also be able to see a rendering of how your teeth will improve as treatment progresses. A certified Invisalign lab will create your aligners. When they arrive at our office, we’ll make sure that they fit correctly and that you understand how to use them. We’ll check your progress every six weeks or so to make sure you’re getting the results you want.

Q: WHEN WILL I START SEEING RESULTS?

A: It may take several weeks to notice your teeth shift position. Every time you change aligners (one or two weeks apart), you’ll know that your teeth have already moved enough to need the next Invisalign aligner.
