One of the best things about my job is seeing people enjoy life more after receiving dental care—particularly when cosmetic dentistry transforms someone’s smile.

Some patients come to me embarrassed by chipped or worn-down teeth; others want to address stains or discoloration. When I explain how quickly I can give them a beautiful smile with dental veneers, it can be hard to believe. But, then they see the results and are amazed.
The veneers we use, Lumineers, are not only beautiful, but they require very little preparation. Some veneers are thick, requiring the tooth’s surface be ground down before they can be applied. The ultra-thin Lumineers don’t require any grinding, so no preparation or anesthetics are needed.

When the procedure is complete, patients can’t believe the change. They love the look of their Lumineers. Best of all for me, though, they start to enjoy smiling and laughing more—sometimes after years of hiding their smiles. Seeing someone open up like that really makes me happy.
If you’d like to enhance your smile, come on in and see me. Let’s see if Lumineers are right for you.

The Magic of Cosmetic Dentistry

In cosmetic dentistry, there are now an incredible number of ways to help patients achieve beautiful smiles. Just about any imperfection has a solution and those solutions keep getting simpler, stronger and better.

Dental Veneers

Many patients complain to us about their smiles and wish they could have a beautiful smile like celebrities they see in the media. We have a very effective way to help them: Lumineers. Lumineers are a type of dental veneers—beautifully crafted porcelain shells that cover teeth which are discolored, cracked or chipped. They also conceal small gaps between teeth.
These shells are very thin so they don’t add bulk to your teeth, meaning you don’t need to have enamel removed from the front of your teeth for them to fit. Despite their thinness, they are exceptionally strong and therefore long-lasting. In a very short time, a less-than-attractive smile can become a gorgeous one.
However, Lumineers are just one cosmetic dentistry procedure that we offer. Sometimes, patients find they may need dental implants or Invisalign teeth straightening to give them the smile they want.

Dental Implants

Missing teeth can definitely have a negative impact on the appearance of your smile, to say nothing about the functional problems this can cause. Dental implants are the ideal solution for missing teeth. A dental implant is a natural-looking replacement tooth fastened securely to your jaw. They look, feel and act just like your natural teeth. Because there is no special maintenance and they last for years, they’re almost like getting your original teeth back.

Invisalign Teeth Straightening

Not long ago, if you wanted straighter teeth, you had wear metal braces for years. Now patients who want beautifully aligned teeth can get them with Invisalign. Invisalign uses nearly invisible plastic trays to ease your teeth into their ideal positions. This means straighter teeth without interrupting your life.
When it comes to improving your smile, the solutions of modern cosmetic dentistry are almost endless. No matter what needs to be done, it’s possible for anyone to have a smile they want to show off.
