Dental Technology

State-Of-The-Art Dental Technology

Because Dr. Davis is dedicated to a high standard of dental care, he ensures that the latest advances in dental technology are always available to his patients. The following list details some of the technologically advanced equipment he uses to provide you the best dental science has to offer.

Digital X-rays

Digital x-rays are a significant advancement over the film x-ray systems of the past. Patients receive a lower dose of radiation and digital x-rays can be accessed easily and stored forever. Images are available almost immediately and are clearer than previous systems could provide. Enlarging and enhancing each image for diagnostic purposes is now immediate.

Intraoral Camera

With a small, handheld intraoral camera taking images of the inside of your mouth, you can finally see what Dr. Davis sees. You’ll be able to inspect any areas that need treatment and gain a greater understanding of your need for care. Images can be stored for future reference.

CEREC Crown Manufacturing System

The CEREC system is a computer-aided design system which Dr. Davis uses to create same-day crowns in his office. This design system is linked to a computeraided manufacturing system that mills a perfect crown that can be finished and placed, all in one appointment.
